Social Partnership
Since 2002 The Carers Association has been a member of the Community and Voluntary (C&V) Pillar of Social Partnership, giving Family Carers a representative voice in the national partnership process. The C&V Pillar is one of five pillars of Social Partnership, alongside the Employers Pillar, Trade Union Pillar and Environmental Pillar. The C&V Pillar consists of seventeen organisations that provide a voice and representation for vulnerable people and communities in developing Irelands social and economic policies.
